Bluebells and Singletrack Guided Ride

Come and enjoy the wonderful flowing singletrack and woodland trails of the Chiltern Hills surrounding the picturesque town of Henley-on-Thames.
Start and finish at the car park near the River Thames on Mill Lane, next to Henley Town Football Club. (The car park is free to use, but can get busy.)Â
We’ll be setting off at 10am, with a leisurely pace with lots of opportunities to make stops on the way.
The route is suitable for any mountain bike, hardtail, full sus or ebike – bring whatever you like.
Route description
From here go up along the edge of Henley and out through Harpsden Woods to Crowsley Park and on to Rotherfield Peppard.

Next is some delightful singletrack and bluebell carpeted woods with an optional bombhole thrown in for good measure.Â

On to Nettlebed and out through the RSPB nature reserve with an adventurous down and up to Maidensgrove.
A quick loop of Pishill (yes really!) and Russells Water, before returning to Maidensgrove.Â

From here it’s a ridge run with some stunning views, ending with an epic descent to the Assendons.

Heading back towards Henley, there is one final climb – short and steep – before the last great down back to the Fairmile.

It’s then a flat return back to Henley with the option of a riverside pub.Â
