We’ve just put our next Liddington MTB Ride Leadshiper course for 2026 in the diary.
Taking place at the start of October at the Liddington Village Hall, this will likely be our last leadership course in Liddington this year. We’ve had a great time doing these this year and we’re looking forward to closing off with another good one.

Liddington October MIAS MTB Ride Leadership course
This will be our final Devon MIAS Mountain Bike Leader Level 1 & 2 course of 2026, in the October half term at Princetown.
This is the perfect course for anyone wanting to working in mountain biking and is a standard qualification for many outdoor activity companies, such as Neilson Active. It is recognised internationally and domestically and is an ideal qualification for teachers or leaders in organisations like the Scouts looking to deliver mountain biking activities.
Check out our Q&A page for more information on MIAS courses.  The course will take place in the epic Dartmoor national park and you will learn route planning, skills coaching, leadership and guiding skills, enabling you to guide groups in technical terrain. It will also qualify you to teach the skills required to ride at that level. These include front wheel lifts, rear wheel lifts, bunny hops, drops and trail obstacles.Â
The 2 day course will run on Wednesday 28th and Thursday 29th October 2026 at Princetown Community Centre. The course costs £280, which includes your MIAS registration and log book. Discounts are available for members of the armed forces, Blue Light cards, teachers, members of cycling clubs, students and prospective employees of Neilson Active holidays.
